Outstanding @wngrog. This gives me wanderlust bad. Beautiful

The next day I went west again but turned north up to the Ocoee River. I wanted to traverse and explore the area to the south of the big lake it makes. I saw a cool road on the map

The road I turned north on to exit across the Ocoee was one of the deepest darkest forests of the trip. Again I had the place to myself that Monday morning.

The road that runs to the south of the big lake was great but in the summer with full leaves it was not the views I was wanting.

I spent most of the morning and early afternoon to exploring all the roads in the area. Some were good. Some great.

I spent 7 hours covering another 125 miles and turned out of the forest just south east of Chattanooga.

It was about 2 and made it home that night to see Red at about 10 pm. Hell of a 3 day trip. I highly recommend it.
