That it might be fun to post up what cruisers we see during the day. Maybe someone knows them, or has seen them too:

09/27
Red 80 series. OME lift, snorkel, very clean. Saw it by the park next to my house.

Do FJC's count?

;p

Built FJC Frontage Road near TD's Club heading north, ARB front with winch, custom rear bumper, at least 285's, black color, stupid rearview mirror lights on...Cool looking truck....but it wasn't a Land Cruiser...

What were you doing at TD's? Oh, never mind. "Skirts" without the shirts. :grinpimp:

Nope, won't fit on a license plate.

I was the tall dark and independent minded 100, you were the sleek, young Fine Juliet, with trd trim package, and a tight outback Rack that passed going the opposite way on Coors. Please call, so we can spend long weekends ascending over every obstacle we encounter?

haha. Not how I had imagined this to play out, but very clever!

Actually the FJ Cruiser is based on the Prado which is, in fact, a Landcruiser. It's only in the microcosm of the U.S. market that it's not similar to the Cruisers imported here.

Rory,

When I was bringing in the trash yesterday Tony came by and we had a little neighborbood chat. He said you didn't have to work next weekend and you could have the time off for Moab. Just thought you should know.

j/k

haha. Nice Jon. The time off from work is no longer an issue. Instead the just finished 80 is. I am not ready to wheel her yet and the weekend after Columbus day we have a trip planned to Breckenridge. But thanks for looking out for me Jon!

I keep seeing this Blue FJC with large tires and stuff in the ABQ parking garage. I think I left a HDC card on the windshield at one time.

I saw one with a big "FJ" painted on its side. It was from a distance, so couldn't tell how big the lift and tires were - it looked good though...

Just thought I'd post a quick pic of the FJ with some mods. Yes - they do look pretty SWEET when there has been some tender loving care and lots of $$ added to them...

Front skid plate, lift, tires, wheels, and bumper. Nice.

Schwiiiiinnnnnnnnngggggggggg!!!

Very nice! Sorry you can't make it to Moab - I want to see what it can do on the trail.
