mismatched floor mats

I've been looking for a LC/LX for a little while now.
I keep noticing tan interior trucks have gray floormats.
Is this normal?

I think so. My LX is the same way. I like it as it breaks up the interior some.

I bought a LX470 a few weeks ago and I didn't realize the previous owner bleached the mats to make them match the interior. Unfortunately the bleach left white splotch marks all over the mats. I ordered stock replacement mats and they look terrible. Does anyone know of any good replacement mats that match the tan interior perfectly?

Be a lot cooler if I was.

Between the red clay at my farm and the sand at the beach, weathertech mats are always my first purchase. and in keeping with the tech in this thread, I even color coordinate them with the interior of my truck.

I wish Toyota/Lexus sold black floormats for the 100s like they do for other models. Stays a lot cleaner and looks sharp. The factory's driver mat is beat after 2 years in my LX.

I have the same in my 05.

I got some Nifty mats from Amazon and they match a lot closer. I was able to snag the Nifty X-treme mat for the front. About half the cost of the Weathertechs. They don't make the X-treme in the rear or cargo anymore, so I went with the carpet.

Cargo Liner with 3rd row cut outs.

2nd Row Liner. Fits pretty well.

To answer your question, NO! This is not normal. PO or dealer probably ordered the wrong color floor mats. (Probably the PO, because if the mats are real dirty, a dealer will just trash them and not replace.) The names of the interior carpet colors can be kind of confusing. Tan interiors have tan floor mats, gray interiors have gray floor mats. But they aint called tan or gray. Rubber floor mats suck in my opinion, I hate them. Only OEM carpet for me.

I don't especially prefer plastic over fabric, but I use them in the winter as they're far easier to clean...especially pheasant's blood.
