***MIRROR FOR 2003 LIMITED SEQUOIA**** (1 Viewer)

Ok, long story short, there are 2 mirrors for this vehicle. As fate would have it, I have the one with the more difficult to find apparently. The plug I have is smaller than the other more common one and proving very difficult to find. Can someone give me some clarity on what I am looking for, part #, anything? I have looked on Toyota Parts and don't want to order a $275 paper weight. Did that once and no one seems to know what I am talking about. The previous owner put this mirror on there, and it's most likely for the SR5, not the Limited with heated feature. I don't care about the heated feature. I just have no power to it, so I have to press the glass if I want to adjust it.

Following! My Limited mirrors have been broken since I bought the Sequoia. The power mirror adjustments work on both sides however, the button that is supposed to bring the mirrors in for the car wash or for tight side clearance does not work. The whole hinge is worn out and the mirrors on both sides have some slop and play in them so they rotate in and out an inch or so. That makes the angle of the glass change on just about every drive or anytime you shut the doors. It's been killing me. I briefly looked into it but just got busy with everything else throughout the last couple of years. Definitely would like to have them in "full" working order soon.

So far it looks like I will have to just trek to a few diffeent dealers and see what they have with the VIN and hopefully find the correct one. if not, it iwll be a salvage yard an hour from me with a few Sequoias in their lot to see if Ican find the one holy grail to for what I have. If not that, then it will be to hard wire the mirror that curently is available and make it work. This is about the most ridiculous time I have had finding a part for a vehicle. I'll report back,though it may be a minute. I would check your setup. If it is the parger style plug, your issue is easy. Just get 2 replacements. That is the common one found everywhere.

Ok, I finally got some info that will help...GOOD info. There were THREE different mirrors for the trim levels.

1) SR5 non-heated non folding power mirror
2) Limited Heated non folding power mirror
3) Limited Heated and folding power mirror. This is the one I need and cannot find, even at 2 different Toyota dealers with my VIN.

So, There are THREE different harnesses. The ones off EBAY always have that small harness that does not fit my application. I need the larger 7 pin harness. So, it looks like I am off the junkyard to day to find the right one, hopefully. Even if it's the wrong color, I will just paint it. What a fiasco for a damn side Mirror LOL.

I got used side mirrors from ebay. I made sure the plug looked the same in the pictures provided.

So which plug was it? Yes, I have already done this multiple times. I cannot find one with the larger harness.

I don't remember the specific plug but I do have the limited heated and folding power mirror. At the time I just searched on ebay for salvage sequoia part out side mirrors and found two that were actually the same color and plug as mine. I paid about $90 for each.

I have been trying for the same thing. Your best bet is a wrecking yard. I have searched and searched online and I haven’t found one. I even tried repairing it but ended up not working.

Yeah, one is 5 pin and the other is 7pin. I have the 7 pin and I wish I didn't. I found one in Michigan and they guy wanted to argue with me about the harness. I just hung up. I don't have time for someone being obtuse about something they know nothing about. They keep asking the year and trim level SMFH. Lost a $100 sale due to his own pride. I just give up. I'll adjust it by hand LOL

It’s weird you know? People don’t like to be treated badly and complain about it non stop , but then they turn around and flip people off in traffic for minor inconveniences.
