Mining claim run...

The "trail" isn't very long... a couple hundred yards, but there's 5 acres or so of rocks at the end of the trail.... :D where im sure we can find some trouble.

If you're itching for dirt we can take the back way from Yreka to Ft. Jones.... the drive from Etna to the claim is sweet, you wont even notice its paved...... hehe
 
It's all good man, I was just wonderin' since we can't bring any real guns over the state line. Just wanted to make sure that we were gonna stay busy cuz a few shrubs or even maybe small...'ish trees won't slow down the JSC...at least not with me on point:grinpimp:

Good news, Bad news.....

So I stopped by the claim this week, and checked things out. The good news is that the claim should be plenty of fun once we get over there. The bad news is the water is very very low, and the river crossing will not be much trouble for the dashing and handsome JSC, so little trouble in fact that I'm going to give it the first shot!!!! Suckas!! (Sorry T I'm taking point on this... You can have whatever obstacle you want 2nd... Or you can pull me out of the river crossing if I don't make it...) :D We will need to take down a couple small trees that are right in the road on the far bank first though....

I'm uploading a video to YouTube.... but it's a little bit long.... So I'll link to it later. :cheers:

Sorry, I left the video loading all night, cause it was at 100% but it never finalized..... So this morning It's up, and had 2 views.... So some of you may have found it.... But for those who did not...

Edit: You can see how far I got the Honda in.... To within about 100 yards of the river.... Note to self: Honda needs crawler gears.....

Whats the date on this trip ? I think I'm going but I better double check my dates. :doh:
 
Date is the 18th (Next Sat.) Looks like we'll have between 3-6 trucks. If Jesse and the pig make it down I think he's just coming for the day... Most of us are spending the night... Or so I think.... :D

Edit: Yes the picture makes them look more like shrubbery..... They look kind of like tree's in person... :p
 
I might be able to spend the night...how far (time wise) is this away from Medford? I have to be at work on Sunday. :frown:

Those so called trees won't even need to be chopped down, we can just bull them over. Here I was gonna bring my chain saw...that would just be a waste of gas :-)
