Minimal lift you have run with 35s? (1 Viewer)

I have the J springs in the front with 1 inch mr. gasket spacers, and the j springs in the rear, the reason I went so high was to allow for the new wheels that were put on shortly after the above picture was taken, the picture below shous my Cruiser with the new wheels 16x10 inch rockcrawlers, the lift and tires are the same, notice how much of an effect the wheels can have on the way your entire Cruiser will look. I have been running this setup now for about three years and it works great on and offroad, I have plenty of room for clearance and may even go to a larger tire at some point in the future!

Stock wheels, we need as many constants as possible with a thread like this. The tire I am looking at is the 315 mt/r. I also looked at running the skinny 35x10.5 ssr, but decided it did not look right. Has anyone every tried bending the fender wells where rubbing occurs? Or is this not possible?

850/860 springs with 1/2" spacer up front. Rear bump stop extended by 2" and running 315 75 16 Geolanders. No rubbage anywhere. Truck has a 1/2" higher in the rear. Great for extra loads. I have a desperate need for gears though. :flipoff2:

Brake Proportioning valve adjustment after lift

I don't want to completely change the subject, but I just finished installing an OME lift on my '97 Cruiser. The installation was simple, but my load sensing proportioning valve either needs to be re-positioned or adjusted for proper braking pressure at the new heigh (2.5" higher). Does anyone have any advice on this subject?

Thanks,

Your LSPV question is answered in another thread!!!!

Ok, I'd like to put a diffrent spin on this for just a sec. Say I'm running 315/75's (BFG AT's) with stock gearing... Is this a huge strain on the truck, or is daily driving only lightly effected. I drive with a pretty light foot anyways so i'm not looking for performance at all. (Not in a landcruiser atleast) I just dont want to have to floor it to get up to 20 mph.
