Will a V6 3rd from a 4Runner (88-95) work in the rear of a Fj80 or FZJ80 ?

Are 5.29s to high when turning 35s ?

No

Are 5.29s to high when turning 35s?

Yes, unless you don't plan on much freeway driving. Most folks run 4.56 or 4.88s with 35s. I'm not even sure 5.29s are available for the rear. Strength would certainly be a issue as well.
