Might be picking up another LX470 but...

So what's funny is I sold my 2006 LX470 a few months ago and thought I'd bide my time and look for a LX570. Well, driving my M3 and M5 just weren't enough cuz last month, I started itching for another LC/LX sooner than I thought! Luck is a funny thing cuz I found a one owner, clean CarFax 2006 LX470 with higher mileage but in good overall condition. I believe my 2006 I sold was in better shape, but a fixer upper usually costs quite a bit less. ;)

When I drove it, I instantly knew something was loose/broken in the suspension and needed some work. I put it on a lift and how the heck did this happen on the passenger side? Should I be worried?

I was thinking two OEM axle assemblies and I should be in business, right? I don't know how long it was driven like this but engine and brakes seem strong. Interior needs love and the owner left the antenna up going into a car wash so that has to be fixed. Price is pretty good, but I don't want to commit or haggle more until I get the general consensus of my fellow mudders. Should I go ahead with the purchase or keep looking?

Snap ring is off the axle, allowing axle to pull out of hub (steering knuckle). Check by pulling the cap off the wheel hub. May just need boot kit & snap ring ~$50. May need more parts ~$800 plus per side. Only way to know for sure is tear down. This happens when bearings packed and job not done properly.

Thank you guys! I'll get that priced out and see what the damage ends up being. Hopefully I can get back in another hundie soon.
