Anyone know if there is a 12v plug hidden somewhere in the middle row of an LX570? I've read that the LC has one but I have yet to find it on the LX. Anyone find it? The kids need a place to charge their devices.

If you find one, let me know.

:(

Sorry, I know this will not help, but I was hoping for one in the cargo/third row seats.

I understood that the wiring gauge feeding that plug was very light. I think I saw this on LCOOL.

I have read that too. I wonder how many amps you can safely run through it?

It's only rated for 100W so it's basically only suitable for stuff like charging Laptops.

Hell the cheapo cigarette lighter AC adapters are 100W as well, its near useless, I wonder where the inverter is located, maybe rewire in a bigger aftermarket inverter and just use the existing outlet for a clean install.

Yeah, I saw that. Wondering if that is capable of running ARB fridge?
I contacted de ARB service and this it´s what they said...
(...)You can actually plug it into either. The fridge is "native" 12v which means it will convert the 110-120 into 12v so it isn't as efficient that way in a vehicle and that circuit also bypasses the internal battery monitor. The 12v is how I would connect it as it monitors your vehicle battery and will shut off if it reads the battery below a certain setting so as not to leave you stranded.(...) Hope it helps!

After doing a little research myself, I came to the same conclusion. Adding a 12VDC plug in the back is going to be best solution. Add that to the "To Do" list..

If you pursue that idea your going to want to run heavier gauge wire all the way back to the source (battery) as a larger inverter will most likely exceed the OEM supply wires capacity. So not as simple as just exchanging the inverters. Still a good idea and something I plan to do once I trade up to a 200.

Wiring 12v outlets is easy just remember to fuse them. I also like having them hot all the time (not tied to ignition) so my phone charges if I leave it in the car. That is where I charge my phone overnight. I don't even know where my home charger is?

Running an ARB fridge on 110 kind of defeats the purpose.
