I was majorly annoyed and frustrated when I discovered that my Ball joint on my steering arm has been coming in contact with my MT Classics rims.

What the heck???

It appears it’s only tearing the boot of the ball joint, there is no metal to metal contact between the ball joint and the rim. However this seems problematic.

What are my options? I don’t want to put wheel spacers on, and I feel a little bit hopeless.

Is it possible when I’m in full articulation the BJ will come in contact with the rim fully?

Its close while stationary, its most like just from deflection in the tire when theres load on it. you could just do a small spacer and most likely solve your issues.

Most likely a weight that is on the inside of the rim. 1/4" spacers will be a quick and safe fix.

Okay.

They already stand out damn far. Looks like I have no choice.
