tell me...arschloch, is this your attempt at humor?

or are you seriously trying to call me out for my posts in this thread?

I do not call anybody out and I do not report to you or anybody else. I am 35 years old, report directly to the CFO of large corporation and have done my share of of good and bad just like everyobody else, and your authority on the Rubicon is the same as mine. Get off my back and go back to your chamomile tea and your ham radio and crumplets and let me enjoy the trail with my friends. You are obviously not invited and neither is your input. And if you come to our little get together then you might actually find out that I am also human being like everybody else. But its okay I know you wuld rather just judge people because you are so cool. Oh wait, yeah maybe I am calling you out. Wanna take it to chat?

I fear that it is not.

You fear silly things. You should fear more important things in life. But if it makes you feel better, it is not going to be an official event. And nobody will know when and where it will happen and what we will be doing so you can go back to sleep now Douglas. Pleasant dreams and try having a little less coffee in your eggs in the morning.

Mick- I don't have my panties in a bunch- I'm sorry if you took it that I was "geting on your case". I have some experience with runs that were done without insurance and how much of a clusterfu*k it became when someone was injured and believed he was on an "organized" run.

I met you at Rubithon, after flying 2200 miles to be there so don't go all "keyboard jockey" on me.

I hope you have your run and that everyone has a good time, that no one is injured, that the trail is left in better shape than you found it. Best of luck.

lol. the reason I asked that was because there's a marked tonal difference in what you post in this publickly and what you sent me in the PM. I wasn't sure if you were just messing around and trying to be funny or if you're being serious...that's all.

Doug,

I am sorry if I upset you with my Rubicon run thread. I have updated the information. If you think I should I will request the moderator to delete. Thaks for your concern. FYI - I am working with our Public Relations department here at <company name removed> corporate to sponsor the Rubicon Trail Foundation. Just so you dont think I am a threat to the OHV community. But I do feel your concern about sending the wrong message. Anyway I will see you around. Have a nice weekend.

for the record, I'm not upset. I don't care enough about what you plan to do to be upset. Do what you want to do. Wheel where and when you want. I think we'd all prefer that everyone wheels responsibly, but I'm sure you do.

Like I said before you went on your public chest beating tirade, it's all good dude. have fun on your trip. I'm sure you'll follow whatever rules/regs are in place at the time.

I just called the field office and they will provide me with a media permit to camp and film at Spyder lake and Buck Island. As far as the OHV community is concerned, my corprate community is sponsoring a few non-profit trail preservation socities so Norcaldoug, and Lukezero can go bark at another lonely oak tree in the woods. I do not care for the immature and idiotic heckling considering I have done enough myself. I 4 wheel drive better and own more capable vehicles than 98% of the people that make up stuff about me on the boards, and I have plenty of more money in the bank too. So if Norcaldoug and Lukezero want to rain on my parade, hey its a free country. Last time I checked with the rangers they did not think Mickey Rubicon was a threat to any community except for the old nit picking keyboard cowboys who wax their soccer mobiles nor did they ever even hear about any Mickey Rubicon. I had enough of the hatoraide nonsense. Especially considering the people who got all excited have clocked less one percent of the miles I have clocked on the Rubicon and packed out less than 1 percent of the garbage I pack out from that trail alone every year. So no I will not stop being butt hurt and I am sorry I do not think the majority of the people who post from their high horses know anything about 4 wheeling. I have seen them on the trail because I went on a few norcal80s runs back in the days. They cannot find a public restroom at a baseball game let alone pick a line or get a rig out of a pickle. I swam in ponds to pull Drexx out while the whole crew did nothing but they hate me. This is not an official tlca or other local lame chapter event and if you want to come follow us in August and help us clean the trail and learn more of its history than just where Norcaldoug used his ham radio to talk to the freedom fighters of costa rica then come on down, meet us at Uncle Tom's and let's boogie. I also have seen more alcohol drunk on the trail by every pootalker in this thread than me in the last 20 years. I drink at camp and enjoy my life and that is my choice. I seriously think you guys are 4 wheel drive charlatans and have no idea about what you are talking about, and no you do not own the Rubicon trail and I do know the people that take care of it and soem of them who own it. So stuff it and move on, nothing to see here but a thread about doing the trail in August. If you want to crticize my operations - open a thread in chat. This thread is again about wheeling the Rubicon in August, and if have not run the trail before you cannot come with us. I already apologized for even making it sound like an official run, OMG - why don't you just call the ACLU? Is that mfng "snakes on the plane clear" to Norcaldoug and Lukezero? And next time anybody wants me to deliver something to an even for them don't ask me even if I am happening to go through Sacramento and I will not help you change that tire or bring you a spare birf because you drink hateraide. Have anice weekend and see you in August.
