1985 hj61 vx project needs engine rebuilt broke ring on #3 cylinder repairable with a sleeve i had the crank shaft re ground to ,10/.10 block was washed and checked for cracks head was in good shape still but i don't have time or money to fix has a 12ht in it rh drive five speed with PTO winch, high roof, front and rear lockers, full floating rear end, stainless bull bar, frame is good body is in fair shape but does have rust, I dont realy want to part it out yet trying to sell as a complete truck $4500 obo thanks, Nathaniel

not with a dead motor, if it was running well then that would be a hell of a deal and sold yesterday.
a rebuild is $1500 PER hole at a shop.

so although not a steal of a deal it is a deal all the same.

If I lived in the states and was stuck driving gassers I would see this a rare vehicle down in those parts with the perfect year. I would buy this, take out the 12HT and sell it for whatever I could. Next plop in a 1HD-T because it's already got the turbo so it's ready set go. Finally, because it has rust and is not a mall queen I'd wheel the piss out of it and leave everyone behind with there open diffs stuck in the mud fuelling up their gas tank so they can run there vehicle long enough to hopefully get unstuck and run off home.

Question: how many kilometres on the drivetrain?
