Meteor vs White (2 Viewers)

Hope y'all having a Happy new year and that this 25 brings all of us health and love.

I know it is my money my doing, but ... asking here for fun to see what y'all think.

I like the white lots, reminds me when back then in the early 5th Gen 4Runner I did a Stormtroper. White is a great canvas to do lots of thilngs on it. But lately, seen the Meteor, it is actually very pretty !

They're both nice colors for the LC. White reminds me more of "classic Land Cruiser" whatever that may mean. I'd encourage you to buy what pleases you versus what pleases others.

Meteor Shower was my 2nd choice. White is a blank canvas if you like doing stuff like body decals or bold colored wheels. But yah, buy what you like. Trail dust is my favorite and what sits in my driveway.

Meteor Shower was my first choice and I have never been all that excited about white vehicles. However, when my dealer called me back in June and told me they had a white 1958 for me, I went in and looked at it, really liked it, and love it to this day. It’s simple and easy to keep clean. There is also a really nice balance of black trim on it. You’re looking at two good choices in my opinion.

Be aware that warm light brings out the brown / bronze undertones in the meteor shower color. It looks beautiful at all times of day. I personally love the warmth in the color… I also have a beige FJ80… but worth mentioning in case you might think of that differently.

I have owned so many white vehicles that as of late I have moved away from them.
My wife’s 200 is magnetic grey metallic ( her choice);, and my 4Runner (soon to be my daughters) is also magnetic grey metallic. To be fair when I was looking at used four runners I looked at white, silver and grey.
I really had no preference for color but was looking for the sweet spot of age, miles, condition and price since it would ultimately go to my daughter. She will be 16 in May therefore I need a new ride.
My dilemma is between underground and meteor shower. I like the contrast of the wheels, etc. on the meteor shower. But am leaning toward the underground just because I like the color a bit more .
My wife says “so we’re gonna have 3 cars that look the same.”

My supposed white 1958 was trying to be dealer traded for a Brown Sugar (Meteor Shower) has now ended up being black due to shuffling around in shipping dates. I’ve given up caring, as I’m on dirt every day, so no matter what color I get, it will always be dirty. I’m still holding out hope they somehow end up with a BS or MS, but I just need a new rig soon.

I am amused at myself for wasting so much mental energy on color. Because if told I could not have one I would gladly pick another. They all look good with the exception of one Gx550 color which I will not mention for risk of offending someone.
