go see her, in my sig, you'll see why I no longer have a sunroof.

Are you posting using the mobile app? I can see my sig and bhams but I had to go to the full site to see yours.

I see why you ditched the sun roof. I'll have to look at re full thread when I get home.

so...

I'm getting ready to buy some tires. Should I stick with the 35's I have now or move on up to 37's. I am leaning towards the recentered h1's with 37's right now and could use the extra height to get my rpm's down on the hwy, but don't want to be breaking birfs like Lorena.

If I could justify the size I would love a 1.5" spacer up front and would run humvee tires. the up front cost of wheels is high but replacement tires are cheap and by all accounts that I have read strong and last a long time.

I did see that. I'd love to have it.

37's and Longs... you ain't spinning them full-time anyway...

Oh and for the record, those Michelin military tires are s*** and terrible offroad and anyone who says differently has never wheeled a decent tire offroad.

37's it is. Initial cost is still low if you compare to other 37's. I am going to leave off the rock rings for now, that seems to me like it might be the cause of some of the balancing problems that have been reported. Plus I don't want the extra weight - gonna push the stock birfs as long as I can.

I figured, but I'll give em a go for now since they are basically free with the wheels.

yeah, but then you'll be stuck with that size... which is an odd half-sized wheel.

Where will you get the wheels recentered? Or can you do that yourself?

8 Bolt Hummer Wheel & Tire Special

I could probably do it myself and there is a set for cheap listed on craigslist but cutting out the centers would be the problem without a plasma cutter.

For $209 you are buying a wheel and tire with a custom center??

That's how I read it the second time, but the first time I got the impression it was 209 for wheel and 209 for tire??

yes, actually it will work out to $249 since you can take $10 off for the JFP tires that have paint on the tread and the pvc beadlock inserts are $50 extra per wheel.

is that shipping? lord i hope so...
Otherwise i'd spend that grand towards a good set of 37's on the FZJ wheels.
