well actually totally confident upon the puff puff when squirting the injectors but the spill timing I could not get it bang on as of yet.
the pump is pro rebuilt and timing cog numbers all align but the pump is tilted as far as it can go so the diesel spill drip appears out of the spill test nozzle about 2mm past the 18degree btdc line. So slightly retatrded, maybe it is ok.
There is a guy doing his 12ht spill time on youtubby and mine is about as accurate as his. Youtube is probably the worst place to learn.
I shall give the spill time another go and hope not to have to fiddle with the timing cogs.
But I need to consolidate and organise my universe, cobble together a test run stand, probably by modifying the engine work stand as castors are expensive, and try to be a good parent.. Can't help but admire your parenting Duncan, your daughter with the h55 schematic and your son's passion, pretty awesome.
beach was very good just a 200km round day trip, water was fresh and clean, waves dumpy, excellent work for my wandering eyes, the things they wear or lack of, you think 'really!?'. Australia truly is still the 'lucky country', for now.
