The 35" spare is too big to have hanging off the back and I'm sick of it getting snagged on trees and ledges and blocking visibility.

you mean, you dont want to build a bumper like this? :o

not yet not yet... maybe i'll call him today... lazy i know.

JJS - Yes. It's original except for the tail gate and some bondo where trees and rocks left their mark.

ya know when there is more bondo in it than steel you can go the tyke tub route...like i had to do.

then you don't have to worry about those pesky trees/rocks anymore:grinpimp:

i dout you have as much bondo as mine once had...great looking rig randyman

randy ... ever think of sending your original top out to have a copy made?

There's a guy down the Cape who mainly does Rover tops. I think Wildman is having him do one for his 40. He does really nice work from what I've seen.

Sick rig!

Not an FJ or Cruiser, but I'm just a n00b. :D

Had it less than a year and still haven't driven it.

Specs:
1987 4Runner
22RE w/ mild cam and header to Borla exhaust
5 speed manual thansmission
stock case
1984 front axle SAS w/ Marlin cross over steerin arms & All Pro linkage
5.29's rear spool, front Detroit EZ Locker
35x15.50 Interco TSL SX's

In the process of rebuilding axles and doing a rear dics swap in the process. Once I get it back on it's feet and on the trail, then I'll start thinking about the next set of mods. But high on the list are Longfields, 4.7 gears in the case and 37" Iroks.

Hey Mikey, when did you do the cage work?
I think the last time I saw your Zuke was at a trail cut at F&F.
Looks good!

What trail is that?
