I like this idea. I don't remember if we talked about it at the last mtg or not but I think this might be something to consider for future meetings. I have a growing list of stuff to do, Scott still has a transfer case lying on the floor next to the truck, E has a spartan locker to install...someone always has something that needs to be done.

My idea was to have a place by now. Hasn't worked out that way. Like a BIG enough place to wrench comfortably. And leave stuff out. And be warm. And drink. And burp. And fart. Even the womin, if they so desire. The ones that do fart. Cause some don't.

Can we come up with a better algorithm than "second Wednesday"?
Or should we just meet for coffee at a Hardee's one Saturday? Off I-65, Riverchase Pkwy exit? Huge parking lot, we can kick tires, loiter and not be hassled.

I'm down for wherever, but if people would like to stay in Homewood but have a change of scenario from Oak Hill, I'd be interested in checking out the "new" P.T.'s in SoHo. Haven't been there yet. However, the $5 Bud Light pitchers are Oak Hill are hard to beat.

I REFUSE to be ripped off by the place that is called Oak Hill B&G any longer. That was the sh!ttiest steak I've ever paid for. And their one server hates her job. But she's had 54 years to stew over it.
Let's choose a better place. It can be a bar, just not there. Preferably one with decent food. I personally LOVE Bar31's food. Not sure if it's even open at the moment though.

I've politely suggested other places to actually eat, because the food sucks and the service sucks. Last month when they served me a piece of grey meat and called it their special, not to mention when I said "I ordered the baked potato.." she replied "No you ordered fries" and turned around and left. that was it for me.
