IMHO, once a date and time are set, a new thread should be started with the date and time IN THE TITLE

Oh, wait a minute, that would be too easy and make too much sense! :flipoff2:

:popcorn::beer:

DAMN

I would really love to meet up with all you guys, but if you're going Mar 22, I'll be in DV with the Nor Cal group. Andy is leading his 5th Annual trek, so I can't miss that.

If you guys can do this in first half of April, I could (and would) do it then.

AND, even if we all can't be there (whatever day is picked), then some of the rest of us should get together and do a run whenever we can. Heck, there's a bunch of us down here in SoCal, let's do some wheelin', folks!

There's definitely not enough wheelin' in my life, I gotta change that.

I'd love to try rattlesnake canyon, sounds like fun.

So it appears that a lot of people can make the 22nd and a lot of people wont be able to make the 22nd.

Why dont we do the 22nd and another in April sometime?

Sorry I started a thread and then had to bail on it, but I've been swamped.

I think that's a great idea. It's probably impossible to find a date that works for everyone in a group as large and diverse as So CAl 80's. Unfortunately, I'll probably be one of the ones who can't make it the 22nd. My son was accepted at ASU, and we need to look at the campus that weekend. I'll look forward to April. Have a great time!

Take care,
JR

You better take your shades  if you are taking the wifey so you don't get in trouble!!!
Your son will be dating a hottie VERY soon!!! I swear the hottest chicks are on that campus in AZ.....

Yeah, we went there at Thanksgiving for the USC game (my daughter's at USC), and my son applied to ASU as soon as we got home. Go figure...

Since a lot of people have asked for someone to take the lead on this I'll go ahead and step to the plate and create a new thread. I'm going to need some help though because I'm going to be very busy with work over the next few weeks and I've never organized a run before, so feel free to add input.

Just set a date, meeting place, some vague details on a trail run if there is one ( like what type of vehicle can go) and thats it. Whoever shows, shows. Thanks for stepping up Brad! I can make it a sticky after you post it.

How the heck do you have $$ for your cruiser with two kids about to be in 4yr schools?

I don't have any $$! :crybaby: Have you read my sig line? My poor '95's been waiting to get "loaded" since I bought it! I just bought a used Kaymar from a co-worker, and my wife gave me a set of sliders for Christmas & my birthday (I just need to decide between Hanna & MT). It'll probably be four years before I can buy my next accessories! :crybaby::crybaby: Then, the year after my oldest son graduates from college, my youngest son will start college. :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Seriously, God has always provided for our needs. My daughter is on a partial scholarship at USC (junior year, but technically a senior), which helps a lot, and my son is still considering a California school, which would be GREAT - from my perspective, at least.

Take care,
JR
