Just wanted to say what you are doing is pretty cool. And your rolling in style.

Great 1st trip...you are moving right along now!
I would really recommend that you all take a few days and keep coming back to what you did right, what you can do better and what you should never do again :)

For me I am always worried about wrecking my rig so I limit my "fun" to trips close to home and when I "overland" I try to remember that my rig is my lifeline.

I think it is great that you guys pulled off this first trip and you can keep doing these type of trips to polish things for the big mexico push.

That's why I left my 62 at the hotel. Which ended up being a pretty good call, or it might still be up on that mountain in the mud. I'm also a little more cautious with it because I need to drive mine to work when I get home.

On that note- Update: Larry actually rolled his Jeep in Moab the week before last. He's fine, but his Jeep is fairly screwed up. Lucky for him, he can leave his trailer queen out there at a friend's house for a few weeks before he ships it back to OH. And he works for a Jeep online magazine, so he's getting all the replacement parts for free.

Now you know why lockers are nice but not essential. In the PNW before going to Guatemala I had no need for lockers but here in Guatemala with the slick mud I now have an Aussie locker in the rear and a limited slip up front and I must say it does make things easier when the going gets slick.
