Went to mecum today. Had a great time. Way to many cars to talk about all of them but I will post a few pics I took

I've always been an fj45 troopy fan. Today there was an fj45lv for sale at mecum. Starting bid 160k. First time I had ever heard of this model. Has 4 doors. Seen it on their website couldn't find it in the maze of cars today. Really likes all the fj43's today

Yes, the green one looks like the one Luis did. It sold for $40k (one of the few that has actually sold!)

The brown 60 is currently bid at $24k, but not sold.

There's a white 40 for sale as well, currently bid at $70k - "bolt by bolt restoration".

The red 43 you have a picture of is bid at $25k.

The 62 hasn't been bid on at all.

The grey BJ-71 hasn't been bid on or sold.

It honestly sucks, it means you can't buy a cheap cruiser to beat up off road anymore. In my opinion no Land Cruiser will ever belong in a showroom, no matter how nice.

No I didn't go. If I had the time I would have tho - just got back from south florida after a week down there.

That looked like a lot of fun and eye candy. I could have spent the whole day there for sure.

So if you legitimately crawl over one of those 40's are they done that well? I have yet to see a re-done 40 that you can't find problems, whether it is overspray, wrinkles, door gaps, paint problems etc. I agree that they should be off road instead of a show room, but for that kind of money it should be impeccable. Some very cool cars for sure.

Are you calling Luis' work crap??? Lol.
