So what did you use as an accelerant? If you look close enough you can see a match stick as well.
A blow torch, its far more effective that a bow. Besides, he was prolly smoking a cigarette at the time, which was lit.....

I dont smoke cigarettes.
That is impressive! I learned this technique when I was 12. I have never really seen it done. Even the adults in my world didn't do it, they just told me how to make it happen. Actually doing it is an accomplishment. I prefer more practical methods. When I want fire, I want it NOW!
When I was 14, I learned to carry matches, and a backpack. When I was 16, I learned how to steal fuel from the car and start a fire with a spark plug. I also learned how to tie the backpack onto the car! The wonders of technology! Get the car to carry the load.
Before I was 18, I learned to travel with other vehicles so that I would always have a running truck, even if mine was upside-down in a ravine. I stick to those rules.
It is probably better not to leave civilized areas without a couple of dry sticks that can be used to make a fire. I generally do not leave civilization without at least 3 bic lighters, a pack of matches, two road flares, a rifle, a microwave oven, and a blow-torch! I might be able to make a fire in a pinch! If I can't burn something, I'll blow it to kingdom come! I rub two sticks together when my wife gets frictional in a sleeping bag! That'll make some heat! It is good to be able to do the boy scout way. But I prefer to have plenty of more modern methods on hand.
