MD/PA/VA Toyota Xtra Cab trail rig 38s, longfields, exo, flatbed..$3k, trades welcome

New price $3k!

I've gotten bored with this rig, so I figured I'd put it up here and see what happens.

The rig started out as an IFS Xtra Cab with a rotten rear frame. I rebuilt the rear frame and added a flat bed. You can see a TON more pics and the progression of this rig in my build thread: Build thread

The good:
-30-spline Longfields
-Longfield hub gears
-ARP Hub/knuckle studs
-Hi-steer
-4.88s front and rear welded
-38x12.50 15 TSLs w/ 75%+ tread
-Relatively fresh headgasket/timing set on motor(less than 1000 miles, but 2 years ago)
-Exo-cage designed by me and fabbed by Liquid Iron Industries
-Winch bumper(winch is not included)
-Bilstein front shocks/Rancho rears
-Mastercraft military seats with 4-point latch link harnesses on sliders
-Toolbox recessed into flat bed
-Battery relocated to toolbox

The bad:
-The body is that of a trail rig and is dented and wrinkled. I have a few new body parts and will include them with the sale(door and fender). Also the windshield is cracked in several places. I think a new windshield could be put in, just didn't see the point for a trail-only rig.

-There is currently no dash installed in the rig. I was planning to do an interior cage and removed the dash to build it, but then went exo and never reinstalled the dash. I do have the dash and can put it back in if desired.

-The factory gauges didn't work, so I installed a temperature gauge above the steering column and left it at that.

-One lockout hub doesn't unlock. Something was screwed up with the dial/spring, so I just locked it in and left it.

-Lastly the transfercase shifter linkage got mangled and was removed. I never drive this on the street so I just leave it in low, but it can easily be shifted from under the rig. It would probably be very easy to replace the linkage, but I had planned on swapping out the trans/t-case, so I never bothered.AW4 and Dana 300 have been installed. Dana 300 has 4:1s and twin sticks!

All in all the rig is solid and has never let me down. Always fires right up and runs like a top.

It wheels very well and has run most of the hard trails at Big Dogs.

Included with the sale is a complete Trail-gear hydro assist kit(ram, hoses, brackets) and a drilled/tapped steering box that needs a new sector shaft seal.

If I get full asking price I will include a HP 4.88 third(currently has a Toyota factory LSD in it), a used ARB locker, and an ARB compressor that I was planning to put in the front. The gears in this third have been cryo'ed and it has a solid spacer and triple drilled marlin flange.

I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of stuff, so if you have questions feel free to ask.

I'm asking $5k OBO outright with pretty much everything I have for this rig(all serious offers will be considered). I'm also 100% open to just about anything in trade, boats, buggy projects, cars, let me know what you've got.

The truck is currently located at my work just north of Philly, but I live in Olney, MD and can arrange for viewing/delivery within a reasonable distance.

Bump for a new price of $3k.

Also I have installed an AW4 and Dana 300 w/ 4:1s and twin sticks behind the 22re.

The HP third and ARB will not be included for $3k, but if you really want them I'm sure we can work something out.

Bump for an awesome deal - buy and drive a great trail truck for $3000? How can you go wrong? Good thing I don't have a tow rig and trailer or I'd have to give this some serious thought...

Good luck with the sale.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the kind words! I'll probably regret it after the sale, but it's time to move on to something different.
