Mcgrew's Saloon across from the O'Brien store is a good spot. we will be there Friday night shooting pool and drowning our sorrows.

+1 fill in GP and top off at Cave Junction.

Open fire: I'm bringing an approved LP fire aka "warming/cooking" pit, bring a camp chair and some smores.

Saturday A.M.: I am pre-registered, what time will someone be at the trail head arranging stuff?

Generally speaking 8am round up and try to get everyone lined up and on the trail around 9am.

Matt, Matt & Jerod will be there to lead, tailgun and whatnot the run in. Given a smaller group should make good time.

Eric (Bad Coco) I swear I had your cell, PM me it again pls.

I'm glad you are going to make it, Eric. Your 40 build has been an inspiration for me and I'm excited to see it in person! As a matter of fact, your 40 is my work desktop at the moment. LOL

I'm honored. And here now. Trying out "McGrew's" now then hitting a hotel in cave junction. See you tomorrow!

Just got info from ranger station there is an extreme fire danger and there are no open fires allowed in the forest. No charcoal bbq's, only propane type fires for cooking.

LP fire pit for the win!

Guess you will have to do "the honors" by lighting our dinner/raffle...?? Well, I guess a roaring fire in 108 degree heat might be asking too much?? :meh:

Lets have a contest to see who's best at picking up an olive from a 30lb. block of ice?:hillbilly: -- No hands!

I am also all packed and hoping to be at Fred Myers fuel stop at 7 am when they open.
I think that I may have packed to much stuff,:princess: thinks I am running away from home, would'n't let me take the dog.

Well that sucks, since I have a weber with me for the ribs and brisket. Wish this info was available at noon. :(

Is that fire info posted any where near the trail?

Hey! Just had a ignition coil poop out in cave junction, so I franticly search the web for local parts...unsuccessfully.
Then the fuel attendant called a 24 hour tow co. And as luck would have it..he was enjoying a cold adult beverage with a friend...and that friend just happens to be a heavy equipment mech...and had used parts on hand! Delivered to me at the fuel station in less than 5 min was a ign coil. Runs like a top!

Mary and I made it home around 7:30 without any trouble. There is a new noise that sounds like maybe a u joint going bad.
We had a great time again and it was great seeing everyone.
Too bad Ed was having problems with his rig.
Looking forward to the next event.

One and one half hours from sourdough to three rivers maybe a record but Becca is okay! Heading back now.

Had a great time! We're all back in Cave Junction for lunch. Will post my pics when I get home to Medford. ;)

Made it home from another great trip with the people of Mcgrew. Had an awesome time seeing my once a year friends. Can't wait until next time.
