Didn't find another place where there is any chat about the 2013 McGrew Tail run so am posting here.
Just letting you all know that Mary and are taking our first vacation since 1996 this month. We will not be here for the pre-run but still planning on the "official run" in July.
Take care and we will see you in July.

Tom and Mary

Have a nice, well deserved, vacation! But wait...you were both at Cruising the Woods last year...so first vacation this year you mean! lol

I'm talking about more than a three day getaway. More like two weeks and then some. Going to check out Zion Nat. Park, Bryce canyon, Moab then go to the four corners area for a few days. From there to Albuquerque to spend a few days with my son. Maybe do some 4Xing and shooting. After that we will meander back towards Brookings looking for more ways to delay our return home.

You'll love Zion, Bryce and Moab!! Take lots of pics. Im jealous!

I haven't wheeled with mobydick and Isolatr for some time now. It looks like that will change here with the McGrew trail ride.
My vacation is ready and my new to me ride is, too!
Is it July yet?
Anything I need to know about this locale to be prepared for? I have bug juice and am not afraid to use it!

Prep - bring shorts and a/c :hillbilly:

Extra room for other member's "stuff"...? :meh: Check with Mudship to see if you can make some gas $$ bringing other people's "stuff" to Oregon for them??

Shorts are standard attire.
A/C may be optional. Compressor is shot. May be able to scrounge another before trip. I could always trade some R-12 for a compressor if some one needed. I have a few lbs.
How are the bugs?
See ya soon, Chris!

2 years ago I don't remember being bothered much at all by them. This year has been a dry one so that should be in our favor. :)

Mosquitoes are usually around, in the dusk and dawn especially.

Registration is next. Must not put the cart before the horse.
Looking forward with an optimistic eye.
