Yes, it was the HUGE Oregon Biscuit fire (2002?)
There is a cedar fungus that speads super easy via mud/junk on your truck, so they inspect each one before heading up the trail to try and keep the speading of it to none.

I received some interest in more sweatshirts/shirts and with the benevolent dictator's blessing I am willing to get another order in if I can get 12 items for a run at the printer. I can get women's cuts, kids sizes, t-shirts including the XXXL's, (the artwork will be huge on those smaller kids shirts and colors are different) I can also get you different colors but don't confuse me please. Prices will be the same as the run but will include shipping unless the shipping is above our cost.
Last time I didn't get enough interest to add up to a dozen. PM me if interested. I would appreciate payment in advance and I get no $$$ out of this. All proceeds go to JSC and putting on things like the McGrew Trail ride.

I know we have a couple <cough> mess up's on my part, and quite a few people that LOVED YOUR DESIGN this year that want more.

This was worth every minute of the 14 and a half hours it took me and the family to get home on Sunday! Even had to turn the heater on by the time I was north of Seattle, got to admit that felt good... I will be back.
All in all this was a great run that anybody who hasn't done it should. And mostly because of the people who were there, really wish I had more time to talk to everyone.

edit: I posted on CC forum, but if any of you are willing to offer pic submissions to Henry Brimmer for his LC calendar, I know he was looking for pics (and McGrew is a different look to a trail than other trail runs). I like a couple of the blue-silver runner Jerod had, for example. Head over to CC's forum (link in my sig) for his email.. not really wanting to spread it publicly around.

Where did that tree come from that Todd is trying to cut?? I didn't see anything like that when we passed on Friday. Also, jmho, that is too long a trip for just 2 days. I would get the word out now(a year ahead of time) that next years run is Friday with no Saturday run. It just seems like Russ and others would have more fun if they had more time. Saturday should be a total fun day to relax in camp and mingle and drink. We sure had fun!
