I need to replace my well worn 345 KM2s, and since the KM3s still have an unknown release date, I have been looking at Maxxis' Creepy Crawler in 37x12.5x17. Before spending $2500 on a new set of tires (on top of $2500 already spent on a set of 5 17" SCS F5s converted to beadlocks), I wanted to see if anyone has been running a set of these for an extended period of time. Most threads in a search did not have any long term feedback.
My 80 is mostly dedicated to trail duty with an occasional 300mi drive across NV or to the southern Sierras. I'm not too concerned about wear and noise, both of which aren't great in a bias ply tire like the Crawler. I am more interested in traction and how they held up in the rocks.
Any feedback from those running a set of Creepy Crawlers would be appreciated.
