The title says it all,
I was wondering what the maximum tire size is for the FJ80 15x7 rim on stock suspension, that will allow for minimal to no rubbing in full flex. I'm guessing 33x12.5?

What are you using the vehicle for?
Are you using the stock wheels?
Did you search and read through the 500 threads regarding the possible tire sizes?

I would think that tire manufactures limits as to how wide of a tire you should mount on a 7" wide wheel is the true limitation if you are inclined to follow their recommendations.

i put toyo 33x10.50MT on my stock height 1991. no rubbing, looks great. i'm thinking this was the max height recommended when i researched it before putting those on. i like the 10.50in width over the 12.50 better myself, but they weren't cheap.

Daily driver, snow driver, and light wheeler. Yes, I am using the stock 15x7 FJ80 rims. I looked for threads before posting this and I couldn't find any. I didn't search very hard, but still. Sorry.

They say if you're going with 12.5, your rim should be at or over the width of 8.5", which mine is not. 10.5 works for 7 inch wide rims, but I've seen some people put 12.5s on their stock rims.

A 12.5 in a 17" would be ok on a 7.5 wide wheel. The smaller the wheel diameter the closer its width needs to be to the tires aspect ratio.

Dude, I had to say it. There are a ton of threads in the 80 section and even a whole section of 'mud dedicated to wheels and tires.

I have put 12.5" wide tires on a 6" wide rim, so sky's the limit, but 33x10.5x15 would probably be your best bet.
