Over the next week I'll be installing the AutoMeter gauge pod into our '97 with tan interior, along w/ a temp gauge. Pod only comes in black.

Any suggestions on spray paint brand and color that matches the tan interior? Suggestions on where to buy?

TIA,
T

bump, im wondering the same, im installing an altimeter/clinometer and need to match it to my oak dash. anyone ever done this?

A friend took part of his interior and color matched it at Home Depot. He sprayed the paint on. I was surprised how well it came out. Sounds retarded, huh.

This is getting more common. Our local paint center, where I do all my buisness can now custom match paint in a areosol spray form. Pretty cool!

DO use a paint designed for plastics.

For my grey I used SEM brand "Color Coat" flexible coating in the color called "Presidio".

I suggest that you visit an automotive paint store in your area and look at the color charts they have. I bet you can come up with a close match with a pre-mixed color which would be much less money than a custom tint.
