I'm a bit fuzzy in this area. I have an '85 FJ60. There is some sort of "thing", a proportioning valve I presume, attached to the master cylinder. The brake lines come from the master into this strange appendage, and then proceed to the axles. What is that and are there any residual valves in this system? I have replaced the rear brakes with disks and I have an aftermarket proportioning valve to reduce the pressure to the rear. I hope I understand this sufficiently to do it right. Any input or technical information on the stock setup is much appreciated.
