can anyone recommend a shop in San Diego / SoCal that can install some marlin crawler gears?

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

maybe try john at sdtrux? I sent him an email asking if they do the marlin gears but have not heard back so would be interested to hear....

I spoke to him about it last time I was in his shop a month or so ago. He said he use to do it but doesn't anymore. He recommended pro grear.

I called them today. They said they'd done a few and not a problem at all. They knew exactly what it entailed

I'm gonna call M.I.T tomorrow

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't even consider MIT, I have heard nothing but horror stories for the last 10 years. They built their reputation by doing things right over 20 years ago but it went downhill from there...

Thanks @619TOY

I called them and their price was more then double of a couple other shops I called

You know anything about Pro Gear? They were middle of the road price wise and had good knowledge of the process so I set up an appointment for monday

totally agree with you, the owner dislikes me, I blasted them on yelp, when I was a college student at sdsu they tried to rip me off big time, he got caught and did not like it, his wife was just horrible to deal with, got super defensive when I started asking questions.
