I am having to do some site work out in Grants for one of my school of architecture projects and I was wondering what the best program or website is to get maps of that area. Topo and road maps would ideal. Or is there an office I can go to and get maps.

Thanks

From my (practical) experience anythng printed on paper is pretty much useless anymore unless you're looking for historical features. GoogleEarth/Google Maps does a good job with newer geospatial data overlaid with old. Mapquest is "OK" for road information. You can also try UNM's RGIS system, which is useful but very cumbersome. What sort of data are you looking for?

Thanks for the information.

I am having to provide maps of the roads in the area for my site plan, plus then show the Northwest corner of the state and zoom in multiple times to show El Malpasis National Monument. A map of the areas mines would also be good. I will work will all those links/programs and see what I can get.
