Looking for a little help tomorrow. The hood and fender are back from paint tomorrow for the 1999 Blue 100 series. I need a second set of hands to set the hood on or any secrets on how to install a hood.

Done

1. Remove core support bolt - bent - may need to be cut off - done
2. Remove passenger fender - done
3. Pick up hood and fender - done
4. Continue to pull on core support to straighten - done, still needs tweaking

To do
1. Remove hood - Done
2. Install grill support - Done
3. Paint driver side fender if the temp gets high enough - not warm enough
4. Install fender - Done
5. Install hood - Friends helping on Friday, 1/22 - Done
6. Install lower valence - Done
7. Install grill - Done
8. Install lights and corner lights - Done
9. Install bumper cover - will be painted later - Done

White - 2000
1. Install rear rotors and new rear brake pads - Done - stopped the pulsating - the calipers were sticking enough to burn the rotors and that cause the pulsating. - Done

That looks like a hard hit, glad she is ok. Just body damage?

by she I meant your daughter not the rig.
Baha. Yes. My daughter is fine. The truck had very slow impact with the back of a new yukon.

The LC sustained body damage and the core support is tweaked. It will not be perfect however good enough for now.

New fender on. New hood going on in a few. New lower valence installed for measurements.

What's next?

- Install washer nozzles and lines
- Install tiny grommets to hold second hood rubber strip
- Paint driver side fender
- Sand and clean up paint on hood and passenger side fender
