make your own 45???

now that aqualu sells 45 frame, box, and cab http://aqualu.com/landcruiser/details.asp?Id=93

would it be possible to build a 45 out of a 40 assuming you could find a top???

It would be very expensive to build one from parts.

$ 4,200 for the frame
$ 3,600 for the cab

This is what i did but without the real frame it's a fj40 stretch!

The cowl are from a fj40, Aqualu: fender,door,hood side panel.tub fj45.
The top came from Oregon.
And the box came from Toyota Stout 1965 (from California) not too sure but when i start the project Aqualu did'nt do the box if they did TOO BAD is't too late and very expensive project!

So take a look on my build up (start at page 5 before is't some chit chat) it's in french but you got lots of pic..
