Hi,
A week ago we decided to take the LC to our annual ski trip, this time was up to Taos NM. Unfortunately when arriving to Taos one of the front ball bearings decided to call it quits and that ended damaging the steering knuckle as well.
Long story short I decided to have my cruiser towed to American Toyota in Albuquerque NM.
Since my front rotors where also below spec I decided to do a break job as well on the 100.
And to finish off the timing belt service which also replaces the water pump.

Since my Land cruiser is Armored and the armoring company will take a couple of days to deliver the brake kit to the dealer I was wondering what else would need attention while the Cruiser is there.
I some how feel comfortable knowing that the Albuquerque Dealer has technicians that get lots of exposure with 100's as compared to the two local dealers we have in town.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
This is a link to a description of my 06 LC.

Ill try tonpost some photos of thepart that failed.

My cruiser has close to 82,000 miles.

JRCN - I'd be arrogant to suggest that I'd know what to suggest better than our very own famous CRUISERDAN whose capable hands your rig seems to be in. While I wouldn't ask him for advice on the latest hairstyles, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction for any recommended work to your truck!

Agreed, trust C-Dan and American Toyota.

You may want to consider a TPS sensor with the TB. I didn't and mine failed 1500 miles later. (Cheap insurance.)

Cruiserdan is a great guy, have not had the chance to meet him in person, when I stopped by the dealer last week I think he was out to lunch. But I have already exchanges some PM's with him. Definitely will ask for his advise as well. He already identified my truck. I think he found my 100 interesting, when I went to see the truck a bunch of technicians gathered around me to ask about the armor on my truck, not even with another car my 100 shares the garage I have gotten so much attention. :)
I'm sure dose guys are going to get it up and running like new.

As far as the TPS sensor, I think my cruiser does not have dose. Mine is not a US spec Cruiser. It has some of the cool things US market cruisers don't have(Like separate climate controls and separate non NAV stereo) but also misses a couple of things US cruisers do have.
I would love to have TPS on mine, but not sure if it can be added.
Definitely helps for safety.

I have added a photo of how my Front left rotor looked as we arrived to Taos. The tire was wobbling all over the place, we where lucky it did not fell off.
Tech told me if I had not had Alte blue racing brake fluid the brake fluid would have boiled and caused more damage.

You are in good hands.

Ask C-Dan about the TPS, even a Siberian spec 100 series land cruiser with the v8 petrol engine has a TPS sensor. Ask me how I know... ( I have a Siberian v8 spec hand throttle kit and air cleaner.) The air cleaner was to allow a second battery in the factory location behind the passengers side headlight.

Awesome truck btw.
