Maintenance required light at 5k

On my 2013 LC, usually the one in dash board lights up every 10k miles but this time it lit up exactly at 5k miles and also the weird part is that there was no warning (maintenance required soon)

I did put a new battery between the oil changes, I would not assume that will impact.

I did use 5w30 instead of 0w20.

I am 216k

There are 2 different places to set the maintenance interval. 1) the odometer 2) infotainment center.

if I’m not mistaken, you need to go into the settings-> maintenance on the infotainment and reset all those items.

I did both in odometer and infotainment system. There is no message/warning on the infotainment system. Only the odometer warning came up

Odometer based one is 5k on all US 200s, I believe. The infotainment one can be configured for whatever interval you want.

I always get the “maintenance required soon” before “maintenance required” message comes on. This time it was sudden.

I always thought the odometer came on every 10k. I never paid attention as whenever it came on I took for service.
