Hello. I have 100 Series that needs the timing belt replaced (100,000 miles). the problem is I live in WI, but the LC is in Winter Park, CO. Can someone recommend a good mechanic that could do the timing belt repair near Winter Park? Thanks, JMP

Slee Offroad and ATLR (Affordable Toyota/Lexus Repair) are both in Golden, less than 60 miles away.

I would go right into Boulder and go to Robbie Antonson.

He's right on 47th street in Boulder near LHM Boulder Toyota.

100 in Winter Park - Hello, I'm lx470 in WP.

Just had timing belt, etc done at Slee. Happy with the service.

They know the vehicles and are close.

Yeah I'd cruise it over to Slee, not a long drive from WP at all. They did a big t-belt service for me at 180, including replace alternator with the upgraded one from later 100s.

If Beno recommendes Robbie Antonson I'm sure he's great. Slee is the expert thou IMHO & closer too WP, would be my first choice if I was to have done.

Robbie is the one who writes most of the articles for the TLCA mag, right?

Correct, he is also one of the most respected Land Cruiser mechanics in the country.

You can't go wrong either way by going to Slee or Robbie. There are very few more capable.
