magnaflow catalytic converter

Has anyone tried installing these on their LC?
I have a 2006 and I wouldn't mind trying one for better performance and gas mileage. My converter has the o2 censor built into it so have to use the one I’ve enclosed.

You'll need two

Gains may be negligible without doing the rest of the system.
But you have to start somewhere!

So, has anybody actually used the magnaflow cats on their 100?

Has anybody ever had their original cats fail catastrophically on the 100?

I have had very bad experiences with cars catching on fire due to clogged cats and poor combustion, so I'm a little nervous. I noticed the floor of the vehicle heating up coming over the pass on the way to Seward, AK. Does anybody else get the hot floor when going up hills at speed?

Are there any records of catalytic converter failures on the 100 series?
and if so, what are the symptoms.

I hope we get a response, I'd like to see if there is anyone with any experience with performance benefits from using the cats.
