MAF's heavy duty tie rods

Quick question: Are MAF's heavy duty tie rods the same internal diameter as stock, or am I going to have to order different tie rod ends also?

I ask because since I'll be putting on ram assist when I redo my steering gearbox (going to go ahead and have West Texas Offroad rebuild and port it), and with the added stress it'll put on the TR, I want to take no chances. I know it's not a concern at all with stock tires, but once my truck's lifted it'll have 37", budget-killing rubber on it.

Good question, the stock tie rod ends will work with the upgraded bars. Although the new rods are much more beefy, to keep things simple, we kept the tie rod ends the same as stock.

If you are going to go big lift and tires in the future, is it worth it to buy a tie rod that will not work for you in the future? I think all Hi steer kits will use 80 series or 1 ton domestic tie rod ends. Seems to me this would make your new tie rod unusable.
