I'm going to go through the front end at some point as preventitive main. and was wondering if anyone is using them. My rig wont see mmuch 4 wheeling, but if they are truely stronger and an upgrade from stock, I would be inclined to use them? Input appreciated...

If you dont wheel you dont need them. If you want an up-grade get Fj80 Tres and tie-rod and drag links much like the ones marlin crawler set up for Fj80 Tres..

80 series are stronger/more stout LOWTIDERIDE?

thanks for the quicky, I mean response...

Probably a dumb question, but do the FJ80 steering parts bolt right up to a 62's pitman arm and knuckle?

I see that 4x4 labs and budbuilt both have custom and also rods for 60's. My question is like above.

Will the 80 fittings fit and or will the 1 ton fittings fit? What has to be done for them to work on a stock fj62 arm? All of my steering rods are very rusty and the TRE and everything needs to be replaced. Just wanna see if its worth it to go ahead and upgrade the rods themselves and what would work.

im going to order the MAF tie rod soon. I would probably move up to the 80 series stuff but i recently put new fuji joints in. I recently bent my tie rod while offroading. the oem tie rod is deff not up to the abuse.

Yeah, its a direct replacement, much beffier than stock. Our 4+ rods for the 60 are heavier duty than the stock 80 rods, I'm not sure how thick the 1 ton rods are though.

great notice Steve .. I gonna check the price .. ! :D
