Hey guys, I don't know how many of you are looking for tiedown solutions for the cargo area of your trucks that are more than the standard solution. Since I'm picky, I've been searching for a nice tiedown solution that is out of the way and doesn't rattle like crazy while driving.

I've found something called Mac's Tiedowns that are awesome. These tiedowns are rated for 2000lb. (On their website, the tiedowns are part #VT-1000)

Here are some pics of my installation. I currently use the tiedowns to clip my toolbag to. I also use them to hold my dogs leash while I strap the baby to his stroller. So, nothing too heavy being strapped down as of yet.

Enjoy.:)

Parts included with the anchor plate assembly.

Backing plate, anchor, 2 screws, and the black anchor plate (not shown). You can get the screws in a couple different lengths. These are the 1" ones.

To clip the anchor into the anchor plate, you can use one hand. It's that easy.

No I don't sell these things or work for the company. I just think it's a brilliant idea to have a fairly low profile solution to body anchors and d-ring hangars.

That's a lot less money. You couldn't tell me this before I plunked down the cash for the Mac's "Custom" ones? :crybaby:

Not to hijack the thread but could you take more pictures of the extra 12v sockets in there and your set up? I tried looking at your post history but didn't see anything.
