M416 (re)build (1 Viewer)

picked up this beauty (only halfway kidding) and i'm in the process of making it roadworthy. right now

first step: lights

i bought a very reasonably priced trailer light kit (by peterson, V540)

the lights are basic stop/turn/tail combos and i think they look good and more or less match the style of the trailer. i'm trying to sort out the wiring (so far only the stop lights work) because the PO made a mess. even with these super basic SSTs i should have driving lights in the rear (i think that's the right term). meaning, if i turn on my parking lights and/or headlights, the trailer lights should light up (less than with full brake lights on but they should light up, right?) or do SSTs just not do that?

You say you are making it road worthy, but what are your plans...gotta give us something to chime in about! I like the start. Are you going to keep it as a stock M416? Or do you have plans to "EXPO" it?
