M-416 tongue extension

Has anyone extended the tongue of their M-416 ? If so how did you do it? Thanks

Yup, I did! Added 24" to the tongue by replacing the diagonal "runners" of the frame with longer sections.

Thanks. I was looking at the diagonal "runners" and it seems they cross at the ring. Where did you cut and add material? Do you have any pictures ? Thanks
