Good, that part will stay straight while the rest of it folds like a beer can, lol.

Ha! You need to go back and read this whole thing Johnny! The entire 3/4 tube is made of 11g, 3/16, and 1/4 material. This was built to wheel and hold up! I have a local guy that makes quarter panels out of 3/16 for me and he rolls the corners so they are smooth, unlike others that have a bunch of bends. They have been into trees, rocks, etc and only scratch the paint. They were made off a set of CCOT quarters I bought, so they are true to stock 40 form and shape.

Body tub is taking shape. Lots of welding! I need to weld the underside then flap sand it smooth. Inner bed is 11g.

Little things take so much time! Got the new body mounts made after cutting old ones off. Plugging along today till dinner with Mom😊

Yes I know, two spacers, bolt was too long. It goes all the way through the big box tube. 1/2" bolt.

Dropped the cage in to look at it. Original plan was to stretch it 14" as well, but after looking at it, I think I like it as is.

I like the shorter roll bar. Does that rear vertical land at the break between the big-little hardtop windows? That’d be ideal, and would provide better visibility. Maybe another test fit? Might need to shift back 3-4” to be perfect?
