Guys, I have a 2013 LX570 with about 140k miles and there is a clicking noise coming from what sounds like the front driver's wheel. It's rhythmic, so seems like it makes the click every time the wheel goes around. You hear it more pronounced when driving past a wall, like at the bank drive-thru, and you can't really hear it if the driver window is up. Also, if you put any pressure on the brake the noise stops. Additionally, there's no noise/click when in reverse.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance, guys! - Will

When I still had stock wheels on my LC I had this problem after doing a tire rotation. Steady clicking sound at one wheel, very prevalent when driving near a wall which would amplify the sound. Turns out one of the retaining clips on the ring of the wheel center cap had broken off, and was rattling around in the center cap. Took it out, no more noise. Might be one thing to check...

Tommy, thanks. This pic is from the passenger side but that paper clip looking thing is missing on the drivers side

gravel stones stuck in the tire can make a clicking sound.

If it was a bad CV I'd expect to hear it when turning, not going straight

Edit: I missed how the brakes affect it. I'd lean towards something loose or missing in the brake caliper

Missed the relation to brakes being applied as well. That retaining clip looks like a good place to start if it’s on the clicking side...

If you're saying the noise goes away when you apply brake pressure, it is related to your brakes. You're also missing the retaining clip.. there's a good chance its the pad bouncing off the rotor until you apply some pressure. Replace the clip first, should solve your problem.

Awesome, thanks guys! Do you think this is a Lexus dealership issue or something any decent mechanic can handle?
