New to the LX but not the site. Can someone give me an idea as to how to remove the sliding arm rear on the LX 570 center console? I know there are some clips and it slides forward I just want to be sure I am looking in the right spot. Thanks.

If you have an older model, check out this thread for some suggestions for removing armrests. Some users talked about using a long zip-tie to knock the armrest off.

I had success just holding the handle up and shimmying the armrest at full extension, but I am pretty sure the slider clips on my console are not 100%. YMMV
2010 LX570 Armrest broken
My 2010 LX570 has a console without the cooler box option and the armrest is broken. My truck uses a split console armrest with each side being adjustable (lift the plastic handle up and slide the armrest where you want it. The left armrest comes all the way off and does not lock into position...

Any idea if I can swap a solid single-piece Land Cruiser center console armrest for the two-piece LX version? Want to assume so, but been wrong before.
