Nice job. I'm super impressed that you just went and did this. It looks a ton better than I would expect someone to do in their home garage without custom fabrication experience. I'd still be dithering about what material thickness to use, and here you are with a fully functional bumper. Nice!
Thanks. I'm really surprised myself that I was able to pull it off. I had some doubt early on by myself and some other forum members. All warranted of course. But I pushed on and made sure that I can always go back to stock should it fail.

It won't be till that bumper cover is split in half that I have fully committed to this....lol

That looks really nice.

Worst case with the bumper cover is ...

Thanks, I do have those e-bay special LED combo lights i am putting in the wings as fog lights. I have tested them before and they emit some good light. I wouldn't want it too bright and piss everyone else on the road.

As far as the headlight washers go. They will stay in the stock location as I will be making the cut just below their location.

As promised here it's the YouTube video I made documenting the process on the design and mock up.

Looks great. We have the same interests in Vehicles, 200 Series and MINI's. Wife is the main driver of the LX and I mainly drive the MINI, it's a 6-speed Manual All4 and she doesn't like to drive it very often.

Did you save the template? Could you trace it for me on some butcher paper? I’m happy to pay shipping . . .

I have all the cardboard cutouts still around. I might be able to send them to as they are.
Actually, now that I think on it a photo with a couple rulers orthoganal would work too. I believe can use that an sketchup.

Let me know what you need, I'd be happy to help
Thanks! It's basically the 4x4 layout, just toss a couple rulers along the edges at 90 or include an L square and take the pic from generally above. From that lots of image tools can recreate the dimensions based on the standards.

I just thought of something. I can do one better. Just give me a couple of days

PART 2
I was putting this off till someone inevitably rear ends me since that happens so often with so much snow and ice where I live but my wife did the next best thing and backed into a snow bank.
This means I am starting a rear bumper build. I am not planning anything with tire carriers or dual swing out as there isn't a big need for it for me.
I am looking to make a low profile/lighter weight bumper that matches the aesthetics of the front.
I started scouring for inspirations and I landed on a design like the Victory 4x4 rear as it has low profile and has interesting angular design.
I will not be making it extend as far as they have since I am not building the swingouts. and will be tucking them under the bumper cover if I add them in the future where the rear reflector would be. Which means I am not extending the wings on the bumper as high as they have.

I do like the inclusion of lights and shackle mounts and the hidden hitch. All of which I will be incorporating in my build.

Wish me luck!!

Another example to take inspiration from might be the RLC rear.

Looks good. Did you mean to have the lower side profile ramp down from the tire to the rear bumper? Most aftermarket bumpers that are aesthetically pleasing ramp up from the tire towards the rear.

Here is the Kaymar as an exampel:
