Has anyone on the forum had their car custom tuned in Australia yet? As I posted up in another thread, someone has in Victoria at least.. Here is a video of their car being supercharged in the HPF: Horsepower Factory:

I am in Sydney and keen to either get it tuned, or eventually Stage 2 supercharged. In the interim an exhaust is being fabricated next week, from the primary cats (exit of) and back. And it would be great timing to get it all done together.

Here are some photos of the exhaust I put on my previous Lexus ISF. We widened the exit from the primary cat, and it made as big a difference as installing headers on the dyno. Will be doing something similar, custom with a varex muffler so it can be quiet and loud as I want it, when I want it. Can program it off throttle position etc.

So a tune would complement the exhaust work perfectly.

So I have had the exhaust on for a while now, as per my other thread, and the valves exhaust with quiet / loud is fantastic. Totally recommend.

Organising a remote tube currently, and will report. My 2016 Lx is supported for a full tune, can’t seem to find anyone locally to do it custom. It’s through VF Tuner.

Hi,
Like your idea of new flanges on the primary cat, and the secondary ones disappearing! I’m already running a Manta exhaust but it’s post secondary cats.

I’m yet to install the blower, but the fuel pump, heat exchanger and pump are already installed. I then need to decide where to get it tuned, but HP-F and Harrop are my 2 choices I think.

I couldn’t get close enough to the flanges on the primary cats in the end, so just made a custom primary cat back system.

I wanted it stealth so used a valved quiet / loud system, with the stock tail section. For what I wanted, it’s absolutely perfect. Great meaty tone when valve is open without being obnoxious, and stock sounding when valve closed. It’s perfect for me.

We tried to make the pipes equal length from the manifolds, and it made the sound much better. Search you tube for “equal length exhaust”, plenty of info out there.

Tune to follow…

I have a stage 2 Harrop setup on my 2021 LX570 that’s running a custom tune from Yotawerx (Yotawerxtuning on Instagram). Tuning is done remotely through VF tuner, so even though he’s U.S. based, he should still be able to tune your vehicle.

Mate, we need pics, review, details!!

I’m actually organising a Yota tune now remotely for Sydney, where are you?

I’m located in California and the shop that did my supercharger install is a distributor for Yotawerx and did all the dataloging/tuning.

I’m planning on starting a build thread at some point to document and provide more details on my vehicle, but overall the kit has been solid. I’m running an 84mm Lexus RC-F throttle body which took a while for Yotawerx to dial in, but overall super happy with the kit. Mpgs went from 10 to 13-15 with similar driving and I’ve got highway passing power in any condition which is awesome.

Interesting move on the intake!

Have you got headers also?

What injectors are you running? Many LC/LX users report hard warm start issues after going larger than the 535cc TRD injectors that max out on a stage 1 tune, myself included. For some reason the Tundra guys don't have this happen near as often.

Im running the Deatchwerks 650cc injectors and have had 0 start up issues even when warm.
