Hi,

Lx570 2011
Got 4-whee ahc system check light on at 158k
As i was already planning to change the globes before it appeared, so i though to start it from there.

Order OEM globes (all 4) and OEM AHC fluid.
- Did bleed before changing globes.
- Replaced globes
- Emptied the reservoir and filled with new fluid
- Did bleed again.
- Started the car, same error
- Hooked Techstream and witnessed error code C1763
- Bled again all 5 locations starting from furthest
- Started car - Same error

Now I see that AHC fluid is over flowing from the reservoir. Breather and inlet valve has few drops of oil or them and some spilled on the floor.

Advice please how to proceed.

Start car and try hitting the height switch multiple times to high. Sometimes that works. If not, in techstream go to AHC and enter the tests - one test is to raise a corner - run that. It can overcome the error. Did you illuminate the reservoir to see how full?

I did try to hit the height switch many time but no luck.

Reservoir was almost full that’s why there was overflow. Removed some fluid and tried again, no luck.

Will run techstream test and will update

Ran test and tried to raise any corner, but when I run any single side corner the system doesn’t enable to switch it on.
The on/off switch only enables to raise both front or both rear sides. But there is no movement at all.

Attached is a data list of values in current condition. I see oil pressure sensor is 0.00. Could this be pump motor?

Advice please

If you go to tech stream can you clear the code and then try a test? Have you drained the reservoir to the max level? Did you use metal jug fluid or plastic jug?

Error code comes back in immediately after I clear. Tried to test by all means but no change.
I drained the reservoir completely and used metal can of 2.5L AHC fluid to refill.

even if you clear it multiple times with the engine running?

I suspect the same. How did you figure that out? Do I have to change whole assembly?
The truck was stuck in low, couldn't hear the pump come one. From what I read about the error it was the always the pump. If the globes go bad it would be slow lifting and a bumpy ride. I brought to the Lexus dealer who diagnosed the pump and ECU. The pump will need to be replaced. I don't have the tools or know how to do myself so I shopped around and had the dealer do it after much negation.

What did dealer charge on service? They must have used their own part, which is also more than I can buy on ebay.

I also have a 2013 lx. I plan doing globes and flush. I am worried about pump malfunction or not working afterwards. So I researched where I can get a pump for decent price. I found the one below. I did purchase my globes from the same company below. Also impeccable Japan sells the pump.

Thanks,

I just order that last week. Got delivered yesterday and installed. All good now. 👍

Great ending. Did the ride quality improve? Did you take apart the old pump?
