The whole Lexus is a shiny/chick/girly/whatever car is so played out. And offensive. If you need a specific badge on your truck to affirm your manliness, you’ve got problems.
When you said that it made me recall this shvantz on wheels from an old Steppenwolf album...

Offensive? Really? That statement doesn’t do anything to dispel the girly car myth.

I find it hilarious that there's a dick measuring contest here about the LC being manly and the LX being girly. We all know that's horse $hit and hopefully this is nothing more than just some good natured ribbing. But if not then I guess the LX guys could call the LC guys out for driving a bloated HighLander or Rav4 which are quite literally soccer mom and butch-lesbian rides respectively lol.

Agreed. Yet, some neanderthals would judge anyone not driving a domestic oil burning confederate rig as ...

I feel sorry for anyone that doesn't feel comfortable enough to get what makes them happy, and need to stay within the box that others judge them by.

Whatever. Leaves more on the top shelf for the more discerning to enjoy.

As far as I can tell one member already known for inflammatory comments is the lone dick measurer here. I mean.. a LC200 is basically a slightly less cumbersome sequoia. How does that not scream soccer mom also? Who would even begin to take their comments seriously?

I’m just noticing a shocking number of people all over the place labeling things “offensive” they really shouldn’t care about in the least. How about we save being offended for actual things that matter?

Ya the price difference is hard to pass up. Going to pick up an 11 LX tomorrow with 78k miles for 32k. Clean carfax, regular oil changes, etc. Lux package, adaptive cruise, Levinson upgrade, etc. An LC I believe would have to be 2013 to match the upgrades on this 11 LX and would cost around 40k for this mileage. AHC is fine for us. Will be posting pics soon. Plan on doing wheels and tires immediately, then rack, sliders and hopefully bumpers before end of year.

Checking in on this. New the forum and just sold my FJ Cruiser and going to grab an LX570. Can't find any mods. Did you get aftermarket bumpers? How does the AHC suspension work so far?

We test drove a '15 LX before buying our LC and felt the ride was way too floaty on the LX, to the point of getting sick. It wasn't too much better in the LC, but that was quickly solved with a set of coilovers with stiffer springs.

To each their own. There's been occasions that prospective buyers have judged the LX before exiting the parking lot where the suspension is still in kneel mode with little to no damping. Floaty is not the way I would characterize the LX at all and writing this so the next prospective owner is not mislead. Especially when the system can be dialed in for comfort, normal, sport.

To be fair, the stock LC suspension is nothing to write home about. It'll be out of its element soon as you load anything significant and won't have the damping for payload handling, towing, nor clearance. A gut job for enthusiast use almost right from the start.

AHC can do all that. And more. Or rip it out just the same.

Certainly to each their own. We put the LX suspension to the test in the Austin hill country in comfort, normal and sport modes. Each only marginally feeling less boaty or floaty.. not sure how else to describe it.

Indeed, both LC and LX feel floaty, however to me it seemed more evident in the latter. With this, I knew I would replace the stock suspension from LC with coilovers... and with the LX, it would always be on AHC suspension.

Now that my LC has stiffer coilovers/springs, it feels much better planted around corners. It's nowhere near my spec Miata, but much better than stock 🤢🤮
