It looks like someone has reproduced the expensive trim piece cheaper on Ebay. $85 with free shipping is still a lot, but better than $120 + shipping...

Finally...

Does this include the Landcruiser version as well?

(Man...I am bad when it comes to stereos...)

with land cruiser using Double DIN head you dont need one as it is a perfect fit in the square area already there. The LExus has a curved and flared portion at the top so it is not a perfect square fit....requiring this piece or you have a big gap at the top.......

I bought the expensive one as it was only one available and they will only sell to installers...not customers. :(

Here is one similar to what I used for about same price....but I never was told vendor for mine. Glad more options are coming. I told Crutchfield about it but was not worth their time or money to stock this part and come up with a plug to convert the nakamichi over to standard toyota setup.

Will it fit rght hand drives as well?
Not sure if the facias are square, what I mean left hand side is the same as the right hand side.
All clear? :-)

Yes please, let us know if it fits.
I probably need one as well.

Yup no need for one in a LC, Double dins fit perfectly!

I finally got my cheap piece of plastic for $29.99 from ebay seller "etradeone2007". It fits great and costs a whole lot less than the $90 piece of plastic from the USA.

It took over a month to ship, but if your not in a rush, you can pick one up for a modestly better price.

I'll try to upload one... hope this works... It looks exactly like the others, but it costs a whole lot less. It's still way too much for a piece of plastic.

I first mounted it flush with some tape on the front side, so it would hold. Then, when it was temporarily held in place, I removed the facia/thermostat control panel and used a small amount of silicone around the inside. Works great.

It isn't screwed in place?
Only glued to the bigger facia?

That looks good enough for me, I just bought one. Thanks

There weren't any screw holes on the fascia that arrived from china. I didn't want to drill into the stock plastic, so I just used silicone. That will hold well enough for me.
